Our process

How a project runs, step by step

Five steps, the same on every job. Each one leaves you with something in writing that you can check.

Why it works this way

Written down so you can check

Trust comes from being able to see what was agreed and what has been done. So the price, the plan and the progress are all written down and shared with you.

The five steps

From survey to handover

What happens at each step and what you receive at the end of it.

Our services
  1. Step 1: Site survey

We visit the site, take measurements and note access, ground conditions and anything already standing.

You receive: Survey notes and measurements

Red boundary marker stake placed among plants during a land survey
  2. Step 2: Written cost estimate

Materials, quantities and labour are listed line by line in a RAB, so you can see what each part costs before you agree.

    You receive: Itemised RAB document

Freshly cast concrete stairs inside timber formwork
  3. Step 3: Agreed schedule

The work is split into stages with planned dates. The schedule is agreed together with the RAB, before work starts.

    You receive: Stage-by-stage schedule

In writing

Changes are agreed before work continues

If the scope changes on site, the effect on cost and schedule is put in writing and agreed with you first.
